Behind the Kimchi

Meui grew up in South Korea and studied food nutrition there. She moved to Canada in 2011 and completed a course in culinary management. Her passion for Korean food has led her to dishes with friends and neighbours throughout her life. Furthermore, she has gained various experiences in the Canadian food service industry. Drawing upon these experiences, she is now determined to bring her special dishes to Toronto and introduce them to a wider audience. It all starts with Kimchi!

Qualifications

  • Certificate of Kimchi-Meister Program from World Kimchi Academy of Korea

  • Algonquin Culinary Management

  • Food and Nutrition at Chungnam National University in Korea

  • Extensive experience in the food service sector such as Aramark, Sushi Bar in Farm Boy supermarket
